LuggageHero fees cover essential operations such as support, marketing, and platform maintenance ensuring a smooth experience for both travelers and partners.

To clarify how commissions, service fees, and payout-related charges are applied to LuggageHero partner earnings.

1. Commission structure
Pre-arrival bookings
LuggageHero charges 55% of the total storage income for all bookings made before a customer arrives at your location.
This commission covers marketing exposure, customer acquisition, and platform operations.
Self-acquired bookings (HeroCode)
For bookings generated directly through your HeroCode, LuggageHero charges a reduced 20% commission on the total storage income.
This rewards your direct customer acquisition efforts and maximizes your profit from locally generated traffic.
2. Partner service charges
Standard service charge
Each booking includes a fixed fee per bag plus a transaction processing fee.

Security seal fee
If your location uses LuggageHero’s branded security seals, an additional fee applies per bag.

Security seals are optional but recommended for high-volume locations to ensure safe and consistent handling of stored luggage.

3. Payout fees
LuggageHero offers two payout frequencies, depending on your partner level and preference.

HeroPro and HeroPremium partners may qualify for monthly payouts automatically.
4. Tips
Partners receive 100% of tips left by customers.
Standard transaction processing fees apply, but no commission or deductions are taken from the tip amount.

5. Incident fee
If a customer reports an incident while your location is open, an incident fee may apply to offset the impact on the LuggageHero platform.

Disputing an incident fee
You may dispute an incident within 15 days of the issue.
Provide clear evidence or explanations through your dashboard.
If other customers successfully checked in during the same time frame, the fee will be automatically waived.

6. Customer booking fees
Mandatory fees
Travelers pay a service fee directly to LuggageHero for using the platform.
Optional fees
Travelers may add extra coverage or insurance at checkout for additional protection.
7. VAT and other adjustments
VAT: Applicable VAT is added in accordance with local laws.
Refunds: Customer refunds based on genuine experiences may affect partner payouts.
Currency exchange: Exchange rate differences can adjust final payout amounts.

8. HeroCode bookings
HeroCode bookings receive a significant commission reduction (20%), while all standard fixed and payment processing fees still apply.
This structure rewards partners who generate their own customer traffic and helps increase overall location profitability.
