The Minimum Bag Guarantee

To explain what the Minimum Bag Guarantee is and when it applies to your payout.

Updated yesterday

What it is

The Minimum Bag Guarantee ensures you earn a minimum amount per bag stored, regardless of discounts applied or the duration of individual bookings. It protects your income during promotional periods or for very short hourly bookings where your standard earnings share would otherwise fall below the floor.

Your guaranteed minimum rate is shown in your dashboard and included in your checkout confirmation emails.

How it works

The guarantee is applied at the end of each payout cycle — not per individual booking. LuggageHero calculates your total earnings for the period and divides by the total number of bags stored. If that average falls below your guaranteed minimum, a top-up is added automatically to bring your payout up to the floor.

You do not need to request this. If a top-up was applied, it appears as a separate line — Bag-Day Minimum Revenue Guarantee — in the "You are owed" section of your invoice.

If your cycle average already meets or exceeds the minimum, no top-up is applied, and the line does not appear on your invoice.
