Your payout is your gross earnings from storage fees, minus LuggageHero deductions: LuggageHero's commission, a payment processing fee, and a per-bag admin fee. This article explains each line on your invoice and when to expect payment.
1. How to read your invoice
LuggageHero invoices your storage location at the end of each payout period. As the platform operator, LuggageHero collects all traveler payments on your behalf, deducts the applicable fees, and pays you the net amount. Your invoice has two sections.
Section 1 — For facilitating sales (what LuggageHero charges you):
Commission excl. VAT — LuggageHero's commission on storage fees collected during the period. The applicable rate depends on your booking type — see Understanding LuggageHero's Commission and Fee Structure for details.
Service fee excl. VAT — Covers platform administration and payment processing costs. Shown as a single combined line on your invoice. See Understanding LuggageHero's Commission and Fee Structure for a breakdown of what this includes.
VAT — Applied at the rate applicable to your country. See Understanding Value Added Tax (VAT) and How It Applies to You for details.
Total (LuggageHero fees + VAT) — The total amount owed to LuggageHero for the period.
Section 2 — You are owed (your payout calculation):
Due from LuggageHero — Total storage fees collected from travelers on your behalf during the period.
Bag-Day Minimum Revenue Guarantee — Only appears if a top-up was applied because your cycle average fell below the minimum. Not present on every invoice.
Amount received directly — Deducted if you received any payments from travelers outside the platform (e.g., cash for a failed payment). Only appears when applicable.
Amount owed to LuggageHero — The total from Section 1, shown as a deduction.
Total tips earned — Tips collected from travelers. 100% yours, no deductions.
Walk-in Bonus — Appears once per bonus threshold reached during the period. If you hit the threshold multiple times in one period, each bonus appears as a separate line.
Balance in your favor — Your net payout. This is the amount transferred to your bank account.
LuggageHero does not charge a payout platform fee. The only deductions from your earnings are the commission, the service fee, and any applicable VAT — all shown on your invoice. For the exact rates that apply to your bookings, see Understanding LuggageHero's Commission and Fee Structure.

This example shows how a real invoice is structured. The two tables below reflect the exact layout of your invoice.

3. Tips
Tips are processed separately from storage fees and are not subject to commission or service charges. They appear as their own line in your payout summary and are paid out as part of your regular payout schedule.
4. Payout schedule
Your invoice is issued on the 7th of each payout period.
Partners who joined on or after 1 January 2026 are on a monthly payout schedule by default.
Partners who joined before 1 January 2026 can request a change to their payout frequency by contacting partner@luggagehero.com.
Once issued, funds arrive in your bank account within 5–10 business days via Stripe.
5. How to find your invoice
Log in to your dashboard at dashboard.luggagehero.com
Go to Payout in the left navigation
Select Payouts Overview to see your payout history
Click any payout period to view the full invoice breakdown
Your bank statement will show the transfer as "LuggageHero" or "LUGGAGEHER." Match the amount to the Balance in your favour line on your invoice.
6. If your payout and dashboard revenue don't match
Direct payments: Cash or in-store payments are not included in your LuggageHero payout — they appear as "Amount received directly" on your invoice and are deducted from what LuggageHero owes you. Report any direct payments to partner@luggagehero.com so they are reconciled correctly.
VAT: Applied to the commission and service fee at the rate applicable to your country — shown as a separate line on your invoice. See Understanding Value Added Tax (VAT) and How It Applies to You for details.
Currency exchange: Your bank may apply a conversion fee if your location currency differs from your payout currency. LuggageHero does not charge for this.
Adjustments: Refunds issued after a booking reduce your total sales figure for the period in which they are processed.
7. If your payout doesn't arrive
Confirm your Stripe payout account is verified — go to Dashboard → Payout
Allow 5–10 business days from the 7th before chasing
Check your bank statement for "LuggageHero" or "LUGGAGEHER"
If still missing after 10 business days, contact partner@luggagehero.com with your invoice number
Summary
