At LuggageHero, we support multiple currencies to make booking and payment as convenient as possible.
This article explains how currency selection works and what potential fees may apply when making payments across borders.
Supported currencies
LuggageHero currently supports the following currencies based on your booking location:
USD (U$)
AUD (A$)
CAD (C$)
EUR (€)
GBP (£)
DKK (kr)
NOK (kr)
SEK (kr)
The currency for your booking depends on the city or country where you make the reservation.
Displayed price and valid currency
The prices shown on LuggageHero are specific to the city you select for your storage.
Your booking will be completed in the local currency displayed for that city.
The receipt and confirmation will reflect the final price and currency of your chosen location.
Currency conversion and third-party fees
If your payment card is issued in a different currency than the one used for your booking:
Your bank or card provider may apply a currency conversion rate or foreign transaction fee.
These fees are set by your financial institution, not by LuggageHero.
LuggageHero is not responsible for conversion or processing fees charged by banks, card issuers, or third-party payment providers.
Cross-border transaction fees
In some cases, you may notice small differences between:
The amount displayed on your LuggageHero receipt, and
The amount charged by your bank or card issuer.
This can happen if your bank treats LuggageHero’s payment processor (Stripe) as an international merchant, even when the payment is processed in your card’s native currency.
If your bank imposes such cross-border fees, LuggageHero unfortunately cannot refund them.
