How to Activate Your HeroCode Sticker and Desk Stand

Activating your HeroCode sticker and desk stand is essential to enable fast, secure, and trackable walk-in check-ins at your location. Once connected, travelers can scan your QR code to create a booking instantly — and every walk-in scan counts toward your walk-in bonus.

This guide walks you through the self-serve activation process directly from your Partner Dashboard.


Purpose: To guide partners through the HeroCode activation process to enable walk-in and QR check-in functionality.

1. Go to the Signage section of your Dashboard

Log in at dashboard.luggagehero.com and select Signage from the left-hand navigation menu.

If you manage multiple locations, use the location dropdown at the top of the page to ensure the correct location is selected before proceeding.


2. Click "+ Connect Signage"

In the top-right corner of the Signage Management page, click the + Connect Signage button. A panel will slide out from the right.


3. Enter your Signage PIN

You'll be prompted to enter the PIN displayed on your signage. This is a unique code of 3–7 digits printed beneath the QR code on your sticker or desk stand.

Type the PIN into the field and click Next.

⚠️ Enter the PIN carefully. Connecting the wrong PIN to a location will display incorrect information to travelers scanning the code.


4. Confirm the connection

A confirmation screen will display:

  • Storage Location — the location name as it appears in your Dashboard

  • PIN Code — the PIN you entered

Check that both match your physical signage and the correct location. If everything looks right, click Next to complete the connection.


5. Verify activation

Once connected, your signage PIN will appear in the QR Codes table on the Signage Management page with a green ACTIVE badge. This confirms your HeroCode is live and linked to your location.

If the connection fails or your PIN does not appear as Active, contact support at partner@luggagehero.com or via chat in your Dashboard.


6. Display your HeroCode

Once activated, place your sticker or desk stand where arriving travelers will see it immediately:

  • At your entrance or front door

  • On your service counter or reception desk

  • Near the luggage drop-off zone

The more visible your HeroCode, the more walk-in bookings you'll receive.
