This article explains how to start and stop your storage timer, how your payment is calculated, and how discounts apply.
Activating the storage timer
When you arrive at your LuggageHero partner location, let the staff know that you have an active booking.
Open your booking in the LuggageHero app or on the website.
Click “Start Storage Timer” to begin your storage period.
Starting the timer officially activates your booking and notifies the partner location that your bags have been dropped off.
Stopping the storage timer
When you’re ready to collect your luggage, open your booking again.
Click “Stop Storage Timer” to end your storage period.
The timer automatically calculates the total storage duration based on your start and stop times.
Stopping the timer ensures your payment is processed correctly and your booking is closed.
How payment is calculated
The timer tracks the total number of hours your luggage was stored.
Hourly bookings are charged per bag based on the number of hours stored.
Daily and multiday bookings use fixed daily or discounted multiday rates.
Your final cost is calculated automatically and charged to the payment method you used at booking.
You can review all charges, including discounts, in your order summary before confirming your booking.
Hourly, daily, and multiday options
LuggageHero offers three types of bookings to fit your needs:

LuggageHero automatically applies:
Volume discounts are available when you store multiple bags
Multiday discounts when you store for consecutive days
These discounts are reflected in your order summary before payment.
Payment confirmation
Payment is automatically processed when you stop your timer.
You can review your receipt and duration in your booking page after pickup.
All rates, fees, and discounts are applied according to the partner location’s pricing.
