How to Cancel Your Booking

A Step-by-Step Guide

We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, and you may need to cancel your luggage storage booking.


This article explains how to cancel and outlines the applicable policies.


How to cancel your booking

  1. Open your booking page on the LuggageHero website or in the mobile app.

  2. Go to Booking Options.

  3. Click Cancel Booking.

  4. Review the cancellation terms before confirming.

  5. Click Confirm to complete the cancellation.

If fees apply, they will be processed automatically in accordance with the policy below.


Cancellation policy

Free cancellation

We know that plans can change, which is why we offer free cancellation at any time.

No-show bookings

If you don’t cancel before check-in and don’t start your storage timer, a no-show fee equal to a full day of storage (8 hours) per bag will be charged.


Disputing a no-show fee

You may be eligible for a refund if any of the following occurred:

  • The storage location was closed during its advertised opening hours

  • You were denied service despite a valid booking

  • The location could not be found at the listed address

  • You were asked to pay directly in cash, and the storage timer was not activated

How to dispute

  1. Contact our support team via chat or email.

  2. If possible, provide documentation, such as:

    • A photo of the storefront or location

    • A receipt or proof of arrival time

  3. You can also use the Report Incident feature from your booking page to flag the issue.

Our team reviews all disputes individually and processes eligible refunds in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.


Additional information

  • No-show fees apply per bag.

  • Service fees and insurance are non-refundable once a timer has been activated.

  • Refunds are limited to the Booking Amount paid via LuggageHero.
