This article explains how payments, commissions, and invoices work in the LuggageHero system.

1. How the payment process works
Payments handled by LuggageHero
All customer bookings and payments are processed securely through the LuggageHero platform.
We collect payments on your behalf for the luggage storage services you provide.
Funds distribution
Once a booking is completed, LuggageHero transfers your earnings to your connected payout account minus commission and service fees.

Transparency
For every payment period, LuggageHero provides a detailed invoice that clearly lists your sales, tips, fees, and final payout.
This ensures accuracy and simplifies your bookkeeping.
VAT note: VAT applies to non-VAT registered businesses within the EU.

2. Invoice breakdown
Each LuggageHero invoice contains the following sections:
Invoice header
- Provider Name and Address: Your business name and registered address. 
- Invoice Number: A unique identifier for this invoice. 
- Invoice Date: The date the invoice was generated. 
Sales summary
Shows the total amount collected from travelers during the billing period.
- Total Sales and Tips: Total storage sales plus tips received. 
- This figure represents gross revenue before deductions. 
Commission and service fees
- Commission: LuggageHero’s commission for connecting travelers to your location. 
- Service Fee: A small fee for maintaining the booking platform and payment system. 
- Total: The sum of commission and service fees deducted from your gross earnings. 
Outstanding balance
This section shows your total earnings after all applicable deductions.
- Due from LuggageHero: The total amount owed to you before deductions. 
- Amount Received Directly: Any cash payments collected on-site (e.g., due to online payment failures). These are deducted from your payout. 
- Deductions: The total of commission and service fees. 
- Tips Already Received: Tips already transferred to your account. 
- Total Earned Tips: All tips received during the billing period. 
- Final Outstanding Balance: The final amount payable to you after deductions. 
Payment date
Indicates when the final amount will be credited to your connected bank account.
3. Additional invoice details
Payments
If you receive any payments directly from customers due to online transaction issues, these are reflected on your invoice and deducted from your next payout.
Tips
Tips are processed through LuggageHero and are not subject to commission, though a small payment processing fee applies.
Currencies
All invoices are issued in one of the following currencies, depending on your account:
EUR, GBP, USD, SEK, NOK, CAD, AUD, or DKK.
4. How to access your invoices
You can view and download your invoices directly from your Partner Dashboard:
- Go to storage-manager.luggagehero.com/home and log in. 
- Click the Billing button under the shop you manage. 
- Use the date filter at the top to view previous transactions. 
All past invoices remain accessible for your records and accounting.
