Why You Might Be Missing Your Payout

If a payout or payment you were expecting hasn’t arrived yet, don’t worry — there are a few common reasons this can happen.


Understanding these will help you identify the cause quickly and ensure your future payouts are processed smoothly.

To help partners understand the most common reasons for missing payouts and what to do to resolve them.

1. Common reasons for missing payouts

a. Payout account rejected

If your bank account information is incorrect or incomplete, your payout may be rejected by the payment provider.

  • Verify that your account number, IBAN, and bank name are correct.

  • Ensure that your payout currency matches the bank account’s currency.


b. Inactive bank account

If your linked bank account is inactive or closed, LuggageHero cannot transfer funds.

  • Check with your bank to confirm that your account is open and able to receive deposits.


c. No payout account added

If you haven’t added a valid payout account to your profile, LuggageHero cannot process payouts.

  • Go to Dashboard → Your Payout Methods → Add Payout Method.

  • Follow the setup and verification process to activate your payout method.


d. No eligible completed bookings

Payouts are only generated from completed bookings.
If there have been no eligible check-outs during the payout period, no funds will be transferred.

  • Check your active and completed bookings under Dashboard → Bookings to confirm.


2. What to do next

If you’re missing a payout, follow these steps to identify and fix the issue:

  1. Log in to your Dashboard to view your financial details.

  2. Review your payout method for accuracy and completeness.

  3. Check your completed bookings. Payouts are only triggered after successful check-outs.

  4. Update your bank details if needed to prevent future payout delays.
