How to add a payout method as a storage location manager

Are you ready to store luggage? Fantastic. Just set up a payout method and prepare to welcome travelers.

How to set up a payout method

  1. Go to your Dashboard > Your Payout methods > Add payout method

  2. Your payout country will default to the country of the location you have added

  3. Select Bank Account Country

  4. Select Bank Account Currency

  5. Add Bank Account Details and click Next

Verification

We are required by law to collect and verify certain information about your business before we can transfer funds to you.

When you proceed, you will be redirected to a verification page provided by Stripe, a trusted and secure payment platform. After adding the requested information, you will be redirected back to LuggageHero.

KYC (Know Your Customer)

“Know Your Customer” (KYC) obligations for payments require us to collect and maintain information on all account holders. These requirements come from our regulators and are intended to prevent financial system abuse.

The information we are required to collect differs from country to country and typically includes (but is not limited to):

  • The individual creating the Stripe account

  • The business associated with the Stripe account

  • Any individuals who ultimately own or control that business

LuggageHero stores none of the above information.

Automatic payouts are not supported in my country

Is your storage location in a country currently not supported by our 3rd party payouts provider?

All bookings you manage are always connected with your profile along with all the payments. Unfortunately, we cannot process the payouts automatically, but we are working on finding a solution as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we process payouts manually.

Once your account reaches a minimum revenue of 300 EUR, we can schedule a wire transfer to your bank account. You can keep track of your earnings on your Dashboard.

You can contact our Account management team who can help you with the process. You can expect the payout to appear in your bank account within 5-10 business days after LuggageHero has processed it.

The payout currency will reflect the bank account currency connected with your storage manager profile.
