Every bag booked through LuggageHero.com is automatically covered by our $500 USD Guarantee against theft or damage while in storage. For extra peace of mind, you can also add optional insurance up to $3,000 USD when making your booking.
How It Works
The guarantee only applies to bookings made through LuggageHero.com or the official app.
You'll need a valid booking ID, along with proof of a successful drop-off and pick-up.
Payments made directly to storage locations (outside the LuggageHero platform) are not covered and violate our Terms & Conditions.
We strongly recommend locking your bags and avoiding storing valuables such as travel documents, keys, or essential electronics.
Prohibited Items
Certain items are excluded from our guarantee. Please review our prohibited items list and Terms & Conditions.
If an incident occurs due to a prohibited item, the guarantee will not apply.
Otherwise, your belongings may be covered under the standard guarantee or optional insurance.
How to Make a Claim
If your luggage is stolen or damaged while in storage:

Include a detailed explanation of what happened
In cases of theft, attach a copy of a police report
Our support team will guide you through the process and assist with your claim.

While the safety of your belongings is always our top priority, please avoid storing items essential to your trip (passports, IDs, keys, electronics). For those, we recommend keeping them with you at all times.
