At LuggageHero, we are committed to maintaining a high service standard for our partners and customers. We occasionally need to deactivate locations that do not meet our operational or compliance standards to ensure this. Below are the key reasons why a location may face deactivation:
1. Misuse of LuggageHero Marketing Materials
Locations that misuse LuggageHero marketing materials, such as HeroCode stickers, desk display signs, window flags, or street signs, may be subject to deactivation. Misuse includes unauthorized placement, tampering with the materials, or improper use of the HeroCode QR codes.
2. Low Check-in Ratio
A consistently low check-in ratio can indicate that a location is not fully engaged with the LuggageHero platform or may not be actively promoting the service. If a location’s check-in activity remains low over an extended period, it may be considered for deactivation.
3. Consistently Asking for Cash Payments
LuggageHero is designed to offer a seamless digital payment experience. Locations that consistently request cash payments from customers instead of using the platform's payment system undermine the user experience and breach our terms of service. Repeated cash payment requests may lead to deactivation.
4. Unmanned Operations
LuggageHero requires all storage locations to be properly staffed during their advertised opening hours. Locations that are repeatedly found to be unmanned, leading to customers being unable to drop off or collect their luggage, may be deactivated for failing to meet operational standards.
5. Location Identified as Privately Owned
LuggageHero partners must be legitimate businesses operating in a professional capacity. If a location is identified as privately owned and not a business, it may be deactivated to ensure that all locations meet LuggageHero’s standards for professional operations.
6. Unable to Connect a Payout Account
All partners must be able to connect a payout account to receive their earnings. If a location cannot connect a valid payout account, LuggageHero cannot process payments, and the location may be deactivated until this is resolved.
7. Multiple Reports of Inconsistent Opening Hours
Customers rely on the accuracy of a location’s opening hours when booking and checking in luggage. If a location receives multiple reports of inconsistent or incorrect opening hours, it affects the customer experience and may lead to deactivation until the issue is resolved.
